Art Basel Miami

Overview

Art Basel Miami is the largest art show in the United States, attracting collectors, dealers and artists from around the world. The event is in December each year, a perfect time to come to sunny Miami! The exhibitions take place at conference centers and Art Deco hotels in South Beach, and in galleries in the Design District of Miami nearby.

With the current downturn in the art market, it will be interesting to see how Art Basel Miami turns out. It already appears that several sponsors have pulled back and several of the smaller art fairs surrounding Art Basel or scaling back.
